mikuni rs38flats?

hello to all!
Just procured a set of 38 flats and thinking of putting em on an 1127 motor.Motor has good compression,4degree advancer,kandn pods and a yoshi tri-oval slip on muffler(from 750?)My question is this...
when properly tuned i should get a nice boost on the upper rpm scale...but how willl those carbs behave in the ,say,3k-8k range?I don't really dog the bike and usually ride between the 3k-9k range.....any opinions?

Worked great on my 1127! Make sure to replace all the O rings just to be safe.

The throttle response is awesome with flat slides, takes a little getting used to though. Be careful your first time out. 38s will work good but RS36s are a better match for 1052-1127cc motor
