FS: 2002 GSXR Telefonica Movistar

I hate to see it go, but it needs to.

Well cared for, and just under 36,000 miles. Clean NJ title in hand. I have a list of all the maintenance I have performed on this bike since I have owned it. I bought the bike with 13,000 miles on it, and the previous owner took great care of it too. I did one track event with California Superbike School and I ran off track and dropped the bike in the grass. I cracked the upper fairing on the left side and cracked the left lower fairing.

Bike is located near Millville, NJ right down the road from New Jersey Motorsports Park. I can deliver it within a reasonable distance.

What's included:

Solo seat cowl
Rear seat
954 tail with integrated sequential turn signals
Woodcraft frame sliders
Flush mount front turn signals installed
Factory turn signals included
Yoshimura bolt on can installed
Factory bolt on can included
Zero Gravity blue windscreen installed
Factory clear windscreen included
K&N Air filter
Factory Pro shift star
New 520 chain and sprocket set
New Michelin Pilot Road 2 tires
Rebuilt shock with Race Tech Gold valve
Woodcraft CFM rear sets installed
Factory rear sets are included
Clear stomp grips
Dealer mode switch installed

And I will even throw in a brand new set of Renthal Kevlar grips, I will install them.

Asking $2999

Open to offers. How about $3k? Prices never negotiate up, so I figured shoot a little high and see what comes back.

Reasonable price with everything included; and your bike is in great condition.

The trek up to your neck of the woods would be a nice break from DE. Sadly, it is not in the cards for me at the moment.

Good luck and I'm sure you will sell her real soon.

Re: FS: 2002 GSXR Telefonica Movistar

Bike is ready to ride and needs nothing. No mechanical problems, no electrical gremlins. Buy it and ride it. Valve adjustment and oil changes done on schedule and have just been completed. Everything is adjusted to Suzuki spec in the service book. Clutch, throttle cables, chain, etc.

I will even include either the factory service manual I printed and put in a binder from the pdf I downloaded, or a Haynes manual, your choice.

I'd like to keep it but could use the money and I don't ride it as much as I used to. I will keep riding it this summer if no one buys it.

Re: FS: 2002 GSXR Telefonica Movistar

You'll get a better price in the summer as well. Depending on your median price range for that year, you'd be able to get the higher end of that when people start doing the MSF courses and get the urge to ride. If I had the money I'd take it off your hands, no doubt.

$2,000 everything listed included, and a front and rear stand. I delivered it to someone in Fredrick, MD and he gave me gas money.

Good price but I'd say you got your money out of her.

Re: FS: 2002 GSXR Telefonica Movistar

I rode it 23,000 miles over 4 years and had lots of good times with it. In 2012 I might have ridden it 100 miles and this year to date I rode it around 500 miles. Time to move on. I did ok, could have done better with more effort to sell and holding out longer.

I did. I got a 2013 CBR250 right now and am also looking at SV650's or the new KTM RC390.
