90 Conventionals or 91 USD ??
It's time to do the forks on my track 7/11. I am currently running 90 conventional forks but I have a complete setup from a 91 USD.
Gonna have to service and seal either set so..
What would you use?
I prefer the USD I just put new seals and oil in and they work well for me. Many (racers looking for a tenth of a second) will suggest revalveing etc. but with simple spring sag setup (pvc pipe spacers) oil weight changes and the clicker adjustment I can get them to proform surprisingly well. Well better than I can ride.

Re: 90 Conventionals or 91 USD ??
Think I'm gonna put a set of seals in my conventionals. and go through the USD's completely and then install them.
Does anyone know an SKF number for the seals on the conventional forks? Or just the dimensions so I can go to my local bearing/seal house and get them. I can take em out first if I have too, just trying to save a step.
the conventional set up is probably a lot lighter,,,,i ran them on my 89 RK racebike way back then,,,and they worked great,,,they will flex a lot under hard braking,,something like the rear off the ground by a foot type thing,,,LOL..
