Just bought them today. I had to buy a size up because of my left foot and ankle being bigger than my right after the wreck, but honestly when I tried on 44 they were really tight on my right foot. These are my first pair of real boots so I'm really excited to get them. Anyone have any experiance with them?
Well i finally had a chance to actually put on the boots and walk around, and i gotta say they are a lot more comfortable out of the box than i was expecting. the sole isnt really that samll, but its not big either so you cant really walk around too much in it before they start to get uncomfortable. They honestly arnt much hotter to me than say a pait of my skate shoes with no perferation, but the heat that goes up my claves is something i havent felt since i snowboarded back when i lived in sd. there is a great amount of lateral ankle stability as well as tons of protection all over the boot. so far, i am very happy with my purchase and would defenently reccomend these to anyone looking for a solid boot in the 200-250 price range. I will post up a riding review after a few weeks of riding.
One of our guys have worn them since mid 90's. Good boot for both commuting and racing as well. he's crashed a couple pair of them with no foot or ankle injuries at all. One of the few boots to fit his calves also.
well i have put them on and walked around and wore them during all kinds of taskes for about a week now. right out of the box they are very comfy. They are a little more broken in, but still far from formed to my foot. Fit is great, sole is just big enough to be okay to walk around in for about an hour, but anything after that is bad. I honestly cant tell that the floating ankle brace is there till i try to bend my ankle to right or left, literaly no movement, which is what i was looking for. They dont get too hot, and they are very well built. cant wait to ride in them soon!
