10A fuse blowing

I am working on a wrecked bike converting it to a track bike. Its not starting now after I worked on some electrical things.
First I removed all the pins out of the connector on the main harness that goes to the headlight harness. The connector was busted from a wreck and I am going to hardwire the headlight harness to it. But for now all the wires are separated and not touching the frame.
Second I pulled the spark plugs cleaned and reinstalled them.
Third and I think this is somehow where the problem lies is that I did a quick clutch bypass to remove the left pod. I put the b/w and b/y wires together.
As soon as i connect power it blows the ignition fuse and the fuel pump wont prime. If I unattach the b/w b/y wires everything works up until I push the starter which obviously doesnt do anything.
Any insight? I am thinking a grounded wire somewhere I am missing.

Re: 10A fuse blowing

i would reinstall the clutch switch. lots of guys have had issues caused by taking it off. have you disassembled the button cluster on the throttle side? there may be something with the kill switch.

Re: 10A fuse blowing

not entirely sure but i think that the jumper cable was grounding on the frame. I am using jumper cable to the battery for now until I get everything situated.
