been going on for over a year now what to do about the 600 front end, I have decided I want to go Showa BPFs if I'm even going to bother..
what I need are dimensions, just missed a low mile set off a 2011 gsxr1000 for $200 cuz I don't know the dimensions and the guy had no way to measure them so needless to say at that price they flew off the shelf.. gone
there are a few options, zx6r-10r and gsxr1k, what I'm looking for is a tree that will fit at the stock 32mm offset, the rest I will have to deal with and match the rear wheel accordingly
the Suzuki forks are prolly the best bet but I'll do whatever I have to I guess?
if anyone has ideas on where to get the numbers I will need it would be much appreciated, I've asked here in the gen 5 forum with zero luck, not a single number, not even fork diameter, I am going to hit the ZX forums and see what I can come up with there..

Just to be on the safe side depending on the different tapers at the top of the fork, you should probably get the yokes as well.
Actually, you're going to need the COMPLETE front end regardless (forks, triples, wheel/rotors, brake calipers, MC etc etc). Might as well just find it all as one set on eBay or something.
There's nothing particularly special about the BPF font end. The insides are a little more tricky to work on, and most serious tuners gut them in favor of standard cartridge inserts. So I would probably go for a earlier model front end personally.

if I use the entire 11 1k front end I need to know the offset, I don't want the geometry so fubared that I traded better suspension for worse steering
30mm is as far off as I would go from the stock 32mm thats if the BPFs are long enough to compensate, thats another dimension I need as well, how long are the forks? I need geometry as close as I can get as thats the bikes only real asset, handling..
I know Yosh makes an extension for the gsxr 1k that gives you 10mm more? something like that but those are prolly a big ticket item..
I really need the basic numbers before I even think about fitment... fork length and diameters, if those numbers are good then I need to know the 1k triple offset, if thats good then its all about sourcing, if the 1k offset is way off I need to source a tree close enough and see what will fit wheel wise in regards to fork spacing- rotors and calipers..
might have to go to the Suzuki store with a tape measure and caliper to get some numbers? should be able to measure offset to a certain degree with a couple rulers and caliper with the top clamp still on the bike?
