Hate toolbags that overfuel a diesel and think it's cool. Gale Banks makes tons of power the right way with no smoke. Some of the buttplug "smokers" around here think they can beat rockets, I normally don't mess with cars or trucks but will not let those asshats smoke me.

When the diesel blows smoke it is unburnt fuel..... A properly tuned diesel should blow very little smoke under power unless you are lugging it

Because of the nature of diesel it is nearly impossible to get it to blow no smoke. if you want it to not smoke on the get off its gonna be starving(read:lacking power) when it gets up there in the revs. Theoretically properly tuned would mean no smoke. But its more of a happy medium thing. Would you rather be inefficient when youre just starting out or inefficient when the power really matters


Find me the high powered diesel trucks with relatively stock motors that dont blow smoke

I will give him a call tomorrow for a dyno sheet. This truck blows very little smoke unless you are lugging and is by far the most powerful truck I have ever driven

All I know id that at literally every diesel pull Ive been to, be it stock truck or purpose built tractor, every single run blows smoke.

Just because that truck you drove doesnt smoke and its the "most powerful" youve ever driven doesnt mean its the best out there. My 1st Gen cummins is VERY efficient and leaves a small cloud only if you try to make one. That doesnt mean that its making more power than others. Again, I reference pulling trucks. Find me one that doesnt smoke at some point during the run AND is at the top if the game
