Hey dick. This was just a few miles from my house. Two died, four seriously injured, and about 200 people evacuated because their homes were hit so hard with the shockwave they might be uninhabitable.

Unless I missed it, they never even say in the vid what caused the blast I dont even remember them saying the cause is unknown and under investigation... kinda the main part of the story and they forgot about it

I don't think they forgot about it, they probably don't know. The blast obliterated and obvious evidence of what caused it I would imagine.

You would just think that they would state that its under investigation anf the cause is unknown. Or they would speculate the cause. Common sense would say Natural gas, but then what caused it to ignite?
Re: A bit of excitement last night. I'm equally impressed and horified.
Still under investigation. So far, they've ruled out an external gas leak on the supplier's end, a meth lab, or any known explosives. Looking like a customer side gas leak. The house that blew up, the lady was out of town, and her boyfriend is still unaccounted for. The other house that was gone was a school teacher and her husband. Both died. 31 homes will have to be razed and rebuilt. Nealy 60 more have damage, most are extensive damage.
There's a lot going around facebook saying "natural gas can't do this". Wanna bet? Those homes are pretty big. If gas was building for a couple days then it'd be a damn big explosion.... fucking hollywood makes everyone an expert.

Damn, that would be one big-assed gas leak.
These days, you're used to hearing about mysterious explosions from 'home laboratories' of various types but not usually in a nice neighbourhood like that.
