Will a 180/55 tyre fit a gsxr750m

Will a 180/55 rear tyre fit a 1990 gsxr 750m? (original size was 170/60) I've been looking around the site for this info cant seem to find it, I'm pretty crap at forums sorry.
I want to now for sure b4 i buy a set online, i am having no trouble with getting a direct replacement size for the front (120/70), but what might be an alternative size for the front?

On my 92 I was going to cut the rear brake bar and have it welded back at an angle (to kick it out some) and I believe this would have given me the clearance to run a 180 tire. You might look into this.

yes without problem (there is sapce even for 190-50 on 5.5)
