Flamin two bros

I have a 06 gsxr 600 with a shorty two bros slip on. and cut out set valve.

I just installed the Powercommander V and was playing with the maps. The 06-07 two bros map (327018) stutters at slow speeds, so I tried out the M4 slip on PC3 map (327003) and I looked back and I was shootin flames.

This is all temporary and am getting a dyno tune Nov 5th.

What does this indicate? Rich or lean? Were talkin 1ft flames here...bigger than the shorty..

I would think it means rich. Actually, I'm almost sure it does. I know this happens to me sometimes, and I have no tune on ny Leo vince slip on.

sent from toaster. yeah, toaster.

Re: Flamin two bros

most shorty maps not intended for a two brothers will run your bike rich. if you are getting it tuned in 4 days, don't worry about it.

Re: Flamin two bros

I have a shorty two bros, and looking at the M4 shorty looks similar so I thought id try the map for slip on, as well as the full system M4. Once it hits 8krpm it takes off winding higher than ever.

It pops/ shoots flames once im reving high and switch gears really quick, or completely let go of the gas. Basically at any time the gas is cut above 7k rpm.

Mad Props for the bada$$ pictures, looks like something you would see in the universe through a telescope! Disable (plug the hose) the PAIR system. Voila, your F4 Phantom will have no more afterburner.

The picture is cool. Just try not to have too many backfires as it is bad for an exhaust. If you block the pair valve it will help with backfiring on decel. as well. That and a good tune and you will be good to go. Cool pic though
