I'm new to the forum..I just purchased my first gsxr600 the end of this riding season and I look VERY forward to blasting around the street again next season with my lovely bike!
I've ridden sport bikes for 3 seasons now, all were under 600cc, non suzuki bikes, so I'm excited with finally owning one myself. I'm considering joining a performance riding school next season to sharpen my skills a bit and have some fun.
I might consider starting at the track with a lower CC bike..what would you recommend? I'm comfortable on the 600 but I'm not sure what to expect at the track.
Anyway thought I'd say hi. I look forward to meeting and chatting with other riding enthusiasts.
congrats on the new bike ... like the guy above me said throw up some pics and if you want to hit the track i would suggest if you can get your hands on a dirtbike with supermoto tires on it i think that will be your bst bet on learning how to really take turns and scrape knees if you get that down the gsxr will be so much easier to ride ... i had a supermoto 450 and doing that and going to the gsxr in my opinion deff made it easier
Welcome, Sandvich! I had a GS500F before my GSX-R600 that I ride now. And a 250 Hyosung before that. I'm in love with my 600. I say take it to the class. It helps make you more familiar with your limits on your own bike.
Anyways, like the other two said....lets see some pics of the new ride.
Thanks for the warm welcome people. I absolutely have a 'thing' for white bikes. I think they're sexy as hell. Not sure if I'm going to customize it or put decals on next season yet but we'll see.
As for the "sandvich" in my name, I am just an awesome sandwich maker I've been told. I will make you all sandwiches if you'd like.

Be prepared for some feedback about making sandwiches. It's all in fun.
