High idle and bogging at WOT : Suzuki GSX-R Motorcycle Forums: Gixxer.com

I am having a couple issues lately. First off, I can't get a decent idle. It has to be set high, around 2k, or it dies. That is very annoying since it won't idle at all really when it is cold, which makes for some rev up situations with these now colder mornings. It also just starting bogging down at WOT. That just started happening a couple days ago. I know these may have been answered before, but my phone is pretty slow and my laptop died. Thanks for the help.

Any ideas? Also, not having a stable idle really sucks when you are push starting it every time. No easy warm-up.

Take out the carbs and clean them well
Check for wear at needles and tubes
Sync the carbs when finished

I forgot to say that you might have an air leak too
Mine was leaking in one of the axles to throttle butterfly.
The mid carb that is the "main carb" open the others and
suffer from heavy load lifting the others along.
Try with ethanol to spot the leak
