FWIW, anyone whose idea of checking the tire pressure is knocking the tires with a stick can stay the fuck away from any of my vehicles...
One, that is a Semi Truck quick way to check tires. Not so much tire pressure, but you can also hear if one is close to trying to delamiate. NOT a way to check a bikes tire pressures.
I think this is the case. I think you have it as a weapon, and are making this thread only to make it seem once prosecution finds this thread, that you innocently had this to check your bikes tire pressures and hope we will make it seem that it is a completely reasonable reason to have it.

so what is the WHOLE story? Why did they even care if you have it? You had to be somewhere that a weapon is frowned uppon, orhave it hidden in such a way as to make it suspicious.
FWIW, when I was a punk kid, I used to carry a novelty bat from a LA Dodgers game, as a weapon, in my belt down my thigh. Is that what you did?
I grew up in not so great part of So cal up until early teens. I did dumb shit , I grew up eventually though, long before I became an "adult" able to purchase a sportbike and get busted for carrying bat as a weapon

wow thanks for all the kind replies,i didnt take too much time in an evaluation of whether it can be used as a tire checker,my friend that had it used it,so after he moved i didnt get rid of it,i never looked as it as a weapon.and it is not a weapon because it is not used or designed to cause serious injury or death.can it be used as a weapon?SURE SO CAN A HAMMER,BUT I AM NOT A PERSON THAT ASSAULTS PEOPLE,HURTS PEOPLE,or has a objective in evaluating every tool i have and see if i can use it as a weapon
Cops usually have a pretty good reason for searching someone's private property - garage, for example. If they didn't, you'd have a pretty good case on your hands, wooden club or not...
Who asks for legal advice on a motorcycle forum? Especially when it has nothing to do with motorcycles. I doubt you'll find anybody here that uses a tire thumper on their bike. BTW what part of the country do u live in?
