fuel filter
does anyone know of an aftermarket in tank fuel filter for a 99 gsxr750?
suzuki want 63 dollars for a filter that should be abour 10 dollars.

anything that would fit is what i would use.. you got your pump assy out of the tank? any numbers on the filter you can google?

no numbers, not even an arrow....hope i can remember which way it goes...lol
its metal, i see some plastic ones, 90 degrees like i need, but dont know if the plastick ones can go int the gas tank.

I have a brand new one in the tool box and its plastic iirc. You may find your current one is plastic too but looks to be wire mesh as its discoloured??

here is the filter. looks brand new, any way to tell if its good or not? im replacing it just cause im in the tank, but if i cant get one easily, maybe i dont have to.
