Re: new to the game

^ Damn is that CCM's fairing????

I can do your paint for very cheap, but it won't look cheap.

I'm in Herndon VA. I also do minor fiberglass repair if you need it done. Shoot me a PM and pics of what you want done....we can discuss.

Here is a link to my race tail I'm doing SRAD Race Tail

Here is a link to my street SRAD upper BEFORE
Street SRAD before paint

Here is a link to my street SRAD upper AFTER ( I also did the front fender you see in the pic)
Street SRAD after paint

I don't do airbrush and all that retardedness though

Re: new to the game

wtf...... You have the lowers with the rarest and most sought after paint job on a OEM srad, and you want to paint some crap over it?
Get the rest to match.

Re: new to the game

Welcome. That paint scheme is considered by most to be the most desirable of all the oem colours. You won't get much support or encouragement to pain over them.
Considering how much it would cost to have the pannels repainted I would consider the eBay link above.
Maybe one of the Guys might post a picture so you can see what it looks like. Personally I preferred the red/black/silver combo but each to the own.

Re: new to the game

If it was me and I wanted it done cheap, I would get Lean to paint the tank half gold/half black and the rear half gold have black.. have the lower section of the upper fairing like he has shown you in the photo..

Then worry about the decals another time, you could probably get away with just rocking the tank stickers and an SRAD sticker at the back..

Do it LEAN!!!

Re: new to the game

if I had the time, I could lay down that paint scheme. That torn part would be tricky...but I bet I could figure it out. Might try it on my street bike, my street side plastics are shot to shit and I use them as practice my paint scheme changes 2-3 times a year

OP has already PM'd me and one has been returned. We'll see if he lets me do what he wants done.

Re: new to the game

Fuck the ripped look, just do the block colours.. His fairing lowers are fine.. Just do the block gold and black around the bike and the tail can be all black with a block triangle of gold.. Simples...
