Snap on torque wrench
So I just spent the most money I've ever spent on a single tool.
Here is a link to the actual tool on snapon

Re: Snap on torque wrench
Good lord that is expensive. Ive never spent more that $30 on a single tool. The most expensive one I have is my Craftsman low range torque wrench but it was a gift. Still only around $70 i think
But I have only been arquiring tools for a year or so

Re: Snap on torque wrench
Does an air compressor count? How about some of the big elaborate devices needed for some automotive work? Engine machining items? Or are we talking just hand tools?
Why did it have to be snap on, cause that is DAMN EXPENSIVE.

For that money, you could buy a lot more than a handjob from a lot more than one prostitute.

My QD SnapOn torque wrench was by far my most expensive single hand tool also, around $260 or so.

Re: Snap on torque wrench
those are the nice torque wrenches. at work, we use the standard ones. those digital ones are pretty snazzy. i believe they vibrate when you hit the torque value.

So if that's the case it's more like a hummer than a handjob

Jet,
They are nice because when you are doing head gaskets and TTY bolts that need to be torqued and then turned a certain amount of degrees, that wrench will do both. Istead of having to switch to a second tool.

Re: Snap on torque wrench
lol.. my MATCO torque wrench looks the same just red i think.. anyways i paid 425 for it 2-3 years ago... ive paid 450 for my Matco combo wrenches,360 for my 1/2 IR impact.. 325 for my 3/8 impact Matco... had a 1" when i worked at a truck shop paid 750 for it.. 150 for my screw driver kit.. 5K for my Custom matte black 6 series tool box before they offered it in their "stealth" color
take that back does look a bit defferent

Damn even the torque wrenches we use in Manufacturing don't cost that much and they get calibrated every 6 months .
