So what is the difference between these 2 parts

I have a 96 gsxr 750 and am looking for a fairing stay to keep the mirrors up.

second one is for the mirrors. goes from in front of tank on frame up to the mirrors

The first holds the upper fairing and speedo in place (lower stay bracket). The second is as TT said, it is your mirror stay bracket (upper stay). It is the stabilize the upper portion of the fairing and to bolt the mirrors too. The last pic is your tank bracket. It mounts to the sub frame and the tank to allow a pivot point for the tank to be raised without the tank coming completely off.
