Every once in a while I get carried away and just get a bunch of parts for my bike (750K6)...
Out of all the things I have done, I have to say my favorite mod. are the Driven D-Axis Rearsets, they look great, provide great feedback and made riding much more enjoyable once I found the sweet spot where I'm comfortable on the bike for extended periods of time.

What are your favorite mods. and why?
troof. so hard to stop, spending, moneys D:
so far, bar end mirrors + led signal mirror block offs on a k5
i think this is my favorite at the moment as i found out the plastic cap can do a big help to the abrupt loss of power (engine cut-off) while at high rpm. lol
here is a short clip of the result, solution to the problem: replace the sidestand spring
Haven't really done much of anything to my 600. My Busa is a different story. The best mod I've done to it is the Brembo 19X20 along with the ASV levers. Busa's come with more go then anyone would ever need from the factory. The brakes are lacking stock, and the Brembo Did wonders. ASV levers are just a must for TRUE adjustablity.
Best mod for me was the R6 throttle mod. Cheap, easy and highly effective. I love it and I recomend it to all of you out there in GDC land.
how exactly does the r6 mod feel riding in the city? I know its so that you dont have to twist your whole hand for throttle, but is there really that much of a difference when riding at lower speeds?
Is this on the 1000 or the 600? How much did you go up? Was it a significant difference in the handling? I am very interested.
The K5-K6 chassis doesn't have the inherent shortcomings that the K6-L1 600/750 does. It doesn't need the chassis jacked way up on both ends. A 5mm shim on the rear shock is all I run.

Thanks for the info SPL. You seem to be a man of much knowledge.
Is there a specific shim you use? I am interested in making my K5 handle as well as possible. I am not a track rider, all my riding is on the streets. Is this a mod you would recomend?
