My bikes symptoms are, Key turned to "On", bike is in Neutral, Kill switch is on, all gauges do there things when both of those are on, and the Fuel pump turns on. When I click the starter switch the head light dimms and the engine doesn't even try to turn over.
Battery is new and charged so it's not that, already replaced Solenoid, it's not that either.
Does anyone know where I can find pics on how to take apart the starter switch assembly? I am wondering if there is something wrong with it, or are there any fuses that could be blown for the starter switch? I've checked the main fuse (on the Solenoid) and the other fuses which are under the seat and non of those are blown.
i know you said the battery is new and charged but i know when i bought a "new and ready to install" battery it was at 60% that shit did the same thing. what kind of bike? i have the manual for an k4/k5 600 it might have that in there ill have to check

It's a 07 gsxr 600, when I got the battery I had to put the acid in it then I charged it up to 100%, if the battery was bad it would still at least turn try to turn the engine over when trying to start the bike.

The kickstand switch is right on top of the kickstand pivot point. It's not that, as your bike should still start in neutral. The kickstand switch only does it's thing when you pop it into 1st gear. It will cause the engine to cut out as soon as you put it into gear.
The clutch switch is a good place to start. It is directly under your clutch. Pullling in the lever causes the switch to engage. Do you have after market levers? I checked out a K8 Liter that had shorty levers. I couldn't start it until the guy told me to pull the clutch in really hard.
Is it your starter? Can you pop the clutch to start the bike?

After everything I was reading everyone that has the same problem that I was having just led me more and more towards a clutch switch problem. So tonight when I went out to find the clutch switch I remembered adjusting my levers so they would be closer to the bars and not sit way out. I turned the dial on them so they were all the way out and she started. Turned the dial so they were closer to the bars and nothing happened, turned dial so they were all the way out again and she started. Such an easy fix but such a pain in the @$$ to figure out!

You have ASV levers don't you ? I did the same thing last year only I figured it out before posting the question .
I am having the exact same problem...except it isn't the clutch switch. I just recently switched out the levers and noticed that switch, so that was one of the first things I checked.
I went through the service manual and it seems like it might be my starter relay. The test it tells me to run is "Check if the starter motor runs when its terminal is connected to the battery + terminal. Does the starter motor run?" So it looks like I will be running to wal-mart afterwork to see if they have thick enough wire to hold the current from the battery to the starter motor. If the motor doesn't run, I assume its the starter motor that is the problem.
