Thanks, I have done a little vinyl work at a local shop. I am not great at it but not terrible. This 3m stuff is dead on carbon look and has a carbon texture and feel.
I bought the bike used (almost new) and was promised the factory cowl but the guy never came through-bastard. I bought a used one on here and painted it. It turned out okay but the color is just a hair off so I thought I would try this. I think I like it.

where did you get the vinyl from? post up the name or link so others can pick this up if it's a great product!
I was sitting at work today(advance auto), and saw we has some carbon wrap for Luke 20 bucks. I'm gonna try it on my bike for a few things. How hard was it really?

Idk you can get a carbon fiber real cowl for like 60-100$ depending on what year. Nothing against wraps just don't get doing carbon fiber the point of it isn't to look cool its a lighter weight stronger material. To me that's like buying kmart shoes and putting a Nike sticker on them... but idk just my opinion.
