White 2009 GSXR 750

Hey Guys,

I just ordered a brand new 2009 GSXR 750 from a local dealer here, they will be shipping it from another dealership, so I didnt really get a chance to see the specific bike I ordered, only through their factory catalogue.

It's the white model which has grey rims, and a tribal looking design under the R logo.

If anyone owns this exact color combo, can you please post photos?

This is the one I'm looking at

Confuses vag for cock... That would be "cock" as in rooster. Which might be even worse. And takes more duct tape to avoid a damn mess. Has lead to interesting nights.

Absolutely gorgeous, my favorite color combos are this white black 750 and the white/grey/blue on the 600.

Congrats on one sexy ass bike choice.

Re: White 2009 GSXR 750

I've been looking for this color combo for a while, what a pain in the neck to find it! I dont like the new model year gixxers, so that makes it even harder, because I had to find specifically a 750, with this color combo, in a 09 model year, brand new.

Looking forward to getting it!

Any photos you guys can post, much appreciated!

Re: White 2009 GSXR 750

Ok thats weird - I'm gonna check with the sales guy. He showed me the photo on a catalog, which looked like the photo in my first post.

And he said that it is for sure the 750

Re: White 2009 GSXR 750

there is a dealer by me that switched the 09 600 orange fairings onto a 750 bike. sometimes i guess the dealer can change them. just check the fork colors and the speedo rev limit for the easiest ways to tell its a 750

Re: White 2009 GSXR 750

Whats the rev range of the 750 when compared with the 600?

Is the fork for the 750 always black, whereas the 600 has a color to it?

It's usually gold versus silver coloring isn't it, with the 600 being gold like the 1000's?

16,000 for the 600 and 15,000 for the 750. The 750 has black forks and the 600, as in the photo you posted has gold forks. The picture you posted is a 600 and not a 750.

For the 2011 the 600 has black forks and the 750 has gold forks.

Re: White 2009 GSXR 750

Interesting! Thanks guys!

Now I gotta figure out if I'm going to get a different color 750 .... or go for the 600 and get the exact color I want...

I'm gonna try and convince the dealership to throw in the 600 fairings on the 750. Does anyone know if they're straight interchangeable?

Re: White 2009 GSXR 750

Yes, they are but you would have 600 on the tail instead of 750.

Re: White 2009 GSXR 750

Dammit, this thread is making me want to buy a late model white Gixxer.

And there are a lot out there it seems. Checked a few websites (like cycletrader, etc) and man-o-man... I might be in trouble.

Re: White 2009 GSXR 750

I wouldnt have to replace the tail... my only concern are the front fairings, I dont like the look of the 750 ones at all, looks like a mid-90's sticker design

powder coat them wheels white ( and clean them every ride) and that would pop.

Yes, I just noticed this after I posted. Dealer may be inclined to do so but then, maybe not. If they ordered the bike you posted, than they ordered a 600 for you though. You could always take the stickers off if that is all that bothers you but the colors are different on the 750 vs. 600.

Re: White 2009 GSXR 750

Maybe I should just contend to the 600.... I was hoping to upgrade this season after riding a R6 for the past 5 years....
