If I bought a 98 750 motor and put it into my 97 750 frame does it bolt right up? Or there minor adjustments? Or should i just go with putting another 97 750 motor.
Awesome. I'll do that when i can right now i have blow by i believe and 40 + k on the motor which the owner before me didn't take care of very well obviously. ( I mean the the engine is spray painted back to look better along with the frame. )
That depends on what better means to you, seriously. I have a 07 cbr1krr that is FI.....its is way fast and not stock at all....but it is no fun to work on. Tuning it is as mundane as hooking the laptop to it and altering the map.
But my '96 750, I can tinker with and it is user friendly. I can have the tank propped up and airbox off and carbs off in about 15 minutes....and I like playing with them, in part because I spent so much time working on carbed sportbikes. If I had not this experience I am sure that I would not feel this way.

Well i don't mind carbs but i heard FI could be better so i just want to know whats the pros and cons of it. Like i work on cars for a living and Injection is a bitch to work with sometimes vs. carbs you pull them apart spray down scrub if needed then their good again.
