Their are those times in life where a single descision will not only affect you but the people around you as well. My friend died last night. He was a Great guy and an AMAZING stunter but made the wrong decision last night and decided to run from the police.
He clipped a car at over 100 and the rest is history.
Hopefully a lesson to those who like to run from cops, the consequences obviously are not worth it. Seems like there's been quite a few stories that have ended like this lately
Is Preston from your hometown? I happen to just find out one of my buddies was riding last night with a guy on a 1k, not sure what year, but he died last night while weaving through traffic and got clipped. This was in illinois however, so im not too sure if this is him or not.
ride in peace. damn poliz. if they didn't chase, he would not have 2 run
That makes no sense at all. He didn't HAVE to run, he chose to run. He also chose to speed in the first place which in turn made the police chase him because he broke the law. When you break the law the police are obliged to come after you. There's no one holding a gun to your head forcing you to speed, rob or murder.
That's the lesson here, know the consquences of the choices you make while you're out there.

+1.
We are having the same issue over here, only with what we call 'boy-racers'. Typically 16-25yr old age group, driving modified Jap performance cars beyond their abilities. Unfortunately, innocent members of the public have also been killed, and now people are questioning whether the police should chase or not.
