Mine was $13,8000.00 Taxes paid OTD.Thats was in spring when the price was at a premium. This bike is now 2 model yrs old, you should be able to get it brand new for $10K or less.
$10k would be incredible; I know suzuki currently has a $800 rebate. So I can at least knock sticker down to $12 (excluding all dealer prep BS). I'm going to ask $11.5k OTD.
Back in 1009 I offered two goats, 3 chickens, and my virginity, but they wouldn't sell!
Was originally going for 10,000. bc i slapped 10 gs down in cash, guy was being a squirt and i told him to call his owner up. He did and we discussed a private sale. Got the bike for 10,4XX but threw a 1g tip down to make them happy so next time i buy a bike they know the deal!
I think alot of it has to do with specific area. Around here the dealers cant keep any GSXR's in stock for more than a day or two before they are sold so if you try to go too low on price they just laugh and wait for the next guy who will pay sticker and not blink an eye. I walked in with cash and 12k OTD was the lowest they went before i would be told to take a hike. There were no shortage of awesome deals on the Hondas and Kawis. They had new 1000's for 6995-8995.00.
I looked around and found some excellent deals in states like PA, OH etc where they were willing to let new 09's go for 10,600+ taxes, tags, title with no prep or freight fees. i just checked ebay and a dealer in NJ has new 09's for 10,695.00 Buy It Now.
Look around. if you dont mind driving there are plenty of deals to be had.

I live in Los Angeles, CA. 10.4 would be great but I'm pretty sure Ican't get that here.
Yea if your in So Cal, I wouldnt expect to get below 11k OTD. Too many military guys who come back from overseas are willing to pay sticker price and dont care and the dealers know that they arent getting any new GSXR's for at least a few months, so theyre holding their prices pretty high. Like the previous posters stated, you can get a honda, kawi, or yamaha for a good price but that aint no GSXR

I agree. keep looking, look like other motorsport shops like an hour or 2 away. you might get better deals!
Id say dont settle for 12 or more if you got cash in hand. esp now, the new 2011s are comming out in couple months, get that price down and use that to your advantage.
11,000 (tag, setup included and no sales tax in Alaska) out the door last summer. Too good a deal to pass up and could not be happier with this awesome machine!!
