The logic is:

"If the person being chased is willing to run, put his life, and the lives of those around him in mortal peril, then anything can be expected of them"

Re: Utah Chase

@youngy - procedure for felony arrest includes pulling your weapon and having the suspect lay face down and spread eagle. In this case - if someone if fleeing at such a high rate of speed - what is he fleeing from. A normal level-headed person wouldn't turn a speeding ticket into a felony... why is he willing to escalate? Surprised they didn't tackle him off the bike and wrestle him to the ground...

Re: Utah Chase

Yea I just pull over. I don't think I've ever actually gotten a ticket on my bike. I'm always getting pulled over for the hell of it and then they let me go after they're done looking at my bike. Last time I got pulled over it was for "a dirty license plate"

If I was rich and didn't care too much about anything I'd probably give ghostrider style a go.....

Talk about Smokey and the Bandit. Bike diverted the cops from the 100 Kilos in the car.

I've ran from the cops in my RSX plenty of times and never had an occurence, not to say I do it anymore, but I figured I was level headed, and I think it would have been even easier if I'd had a bike. Good thing I didn't then

Maturity I would say could factor in, more then just being "not level-headed"

Re: Utah Chase

Love the way the cop baits him up at 3:58 by saying "Im doing 148 in my Charger and can barely keep up with ya, you must have been going 155-160" and the dumb ass kid says YEAH!! He admitted to going 155-160...LOL.

What more could you expect from a squid in shorts

Re: Utah Chase

atleast he was quick enough to get to the floor
seen a movie here before with a guy telling he did not hear the cops behind him and he got pulled of his bike and it tipped over

in our state cops may push/run in/crash into you when you dont stop your motorcycle

There was a guy here locally that went "ghostrider" style a couple of years back. He was hauling through a red light at an intersection and T boned a minivan in the rear door. he flew head first through the van killing the 3 year old and the 8 month old in the backseat.

yah ghostrider is so freaking cool.

Re: Utah Chase

^ Deserved it what a moron.

And if you're going to run from the cops, at least be smart enough to realize you need to be making constant turns rather then staying on the same street... bikes = acceleration, whats the point when the cop car gets it's momentum up lol
