I have a K9 GSXR 1000
It is the most comfortable 1000 i have ever riden. I am 6'4 and 280 pounds.
CBR1000rr (new one) feels very small. ZX10 is also not comfy.
I have not tried the new r1 and BMW.
I sat on just about every new 08 - 09 models out there and found that the GSX-R was the most comfiest and has the lowest seat height ( which is important for me as im very short ). Out of all, the ZX was probably the worst for me as there was to much leaning going on which i do not like at all.
I am 5 8 and fat with short legs. The GSXR was the most comfortable bike i sat on out of r1 cbr 1000 zx10. Even if it wasnt though I am Gixxer through and through. R1 made me feel folded in half. R1 and zx10 if I remember right seemed to have very tall tanks that you hand to lean onto.
09 gsxr 1k for me out of all the 09 1ks was more comfortable with the 09 cbr 1k not far from it. Then the R1 and then ZX10...both of these had you folded around the tak. While the Honda and Gsxr are more up right....
i have a 2002 gsxr600 race bike and a 2004 cbr 1000rr street bike. i can tell you this, i LOVE the riding position of the gixxer, and HATE the riding position of my cbr. the gsxr is more of an agressive racing position that i look for when riding. i "fit in" the bike like one should. my cbr on the other hand is the total opposite. i fit "on top" of it. and its much more difficult to ride the twisties and track. my right knee/elbow usually hit when setting up for curves. which puts a hamper of things when out riding. cant elaborate on the zx, as i am anto kawasucki.

rode my buddies 09 cbr 1000 right after getting off mine, definitely felt a little different. not necessarily uncomortably different but different nonetheless. i like how the post above me said it felt like your riding on top of the bike instead "in" it. my k9 feels like I slide into place and i have a grip on the bike whereas the cbr felt good but lacked that extra comfort that k9 had
yamaha felt like i was sittin on top of it and felt very akward riding like i was on a bar stool or something. zx10 was just plain uncomfortable. gixxer feels like you are "in" the bike and much more natural when riding.
Def A Fan Of Gsxr...i Used To Have A Zx9 And Long Trips Killed My Back. I Have Rode My K9 1000 From Md To Nj Which Is About 220 Miles And Still Wanted To Ride After I Got There. Very Comfy Ride For Me. My Cuz Let Me Ride His R1 And First Off It Leans Way Too Far And Second My Ass Was On Fire From His Undertail...that Shit Gets Way Too Hot
My K4 with Helibars and lowered rearsets is very very comfortable. I occasionally ride my buddies 06 ZX10R with stock clip ons and stock rearsets, it is very aggressive compared to my bike.
Comparing, I think you'd find the CBR is a little more forward. The ZX10 is close to the GSXR, but with the bars a hair closer to rear than GSXR. ZX10 is the easiest to ride in slow traffic sitting up, but the GSXR has better balance at low speeds.
All I can say for sure is the 09 GSXR really looks (to me) like a great prospect for Helibars & becoming probably the best all around commuter that way. The Duc 1198 has the worst riding position from a street perspective. I opted against it for that reason & the nearly no rear view.

I def like the feel of the k9. I have owned an 04 1K, 06 1K, and B-King before now having the k9. The k9 is more comfortable than even the B-King.
I'm 5'8" and i test road the 2009 GSXR1000, CBR1000RR and R1.
GSXR was the most comfortable.
CBR was about the same weight on the wrists but my feet felt like they were up around my neck.
R1 was about the same as the GSXR for feet and legs but put much more weight on the wrists.
Other things I noticed were some things on the CBR looked cheap, ie standard footpegs/rearset and the heat on the back of my thighs and legs from the R1 was almost unbearable.
I'm 6' 5" and 220 lbs. I sat on a 09 GSXR and found it to be comfortable but the S1000RR feel like it has more room. The position was better for me and the seat was the most pleasant I have found on a super sport.
