We had our hands full again this week with several bikes to work on, thanks to everyone for your support!
First up we had Bert-O's 02' GSXR. This bike required a Bi-Xenon kit in order to keep his Hi/Lo Beam Function since both bulbs stay on constantly and get brighter with the high beam switch(dual filament). In order to keep this function with HIDs, you must install what we call a Bi-Xenon Kit. This kit also requires an additional wiring harness in order to work properly, unlike the traditional plug and play kits. Although still not too hard to put in, you have to usually remove some fairings and lift the gas tank up to hide the wires and brain. Bert chose to go with a 4500K temperature which illuminates bright white with no blue color.
Hard to tell the difference on the camera, but here is the low beam:
and the High Beam:
Up next, was this F4i. This one was fairly simple to install the lights on so we were able to knock it out pretty quick! We installed the 6000K in the bike.
