i just bought a set of replacement soles for my Sidi Vertigo. i took the to them to a local shoe repair place but he was unsure what glue to use.

He was afraid if he put something to strong would eat thru the plastics or any other part of the boot.

Has anyone on this site replaced there soles and do you know what type of glue was used?

Or if anyone here repairs shoes for a living what would be the best glue?

The shoe guy here uses stuff in a tube named Barge Glue.
easy to search as see this stuff.
He redid my SIDI motocross boots with OEM SIDI soles and they have had no issues.

Damn it I didn't know you could get replacement soles for the Vertigo's.
I just went out and bought a new pair of Vortice Air's after seeing the soles of my Vertigo Corsa Air's were worn down to nothing...
Where did you get new soles???

, i did the same thing. i bought a pair of Vertigo for 209.00 shipped. the next day i went to www.Motonation.com and found the replacemnt soles for $20.00.

now i have boots for the street and boots for the track,

OMFG... I could have saved that money spent on the boots for some new rearsets

At least the soles for the vortices are easier to change out...

Shit, when I brought my new boot, I dumped my old one because of the sole are completely worn

Well got my boots back from the local shoe repair shop. he used the bagre glue and they look great! went for a ride and so much nicer with new soles!

he charged me $15.00 to replace soles

i paid $20.00 + shipping for the soles

boots are ready for another 3 yrs of Track and street riding, always wear my sidi's.
