Just bought a Porsche. :)
Ended up with a Cayman S. Here's the link to the EBAY ad although I didn't buy it there.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/07-TW...#ht_3622wt_784
Anyway, after 4 years of recovery from last motorcycle accident and 2 spine surgeries, I'm just about ready for a bike as scared as I am. The new gixxers sure are looking good.
But shit man, this is the first car I've been in where the acceleration approaches the feel of a motorcycle.
How's good 'ol gixxer doing these days anyway?

Re: Just bought a Porsche. :)
dont get me wrong, i like Porsche as much as the next guy, but $47,000 for a Cayman seems like a lot. For $47,000 i would have picked up a mid mileage 2006 Z06 Vette

Gawdammit, we're in a recession. Take it back!
Nice car, man. I think, though, that if you get back on a 1K, you're going to be even more surprised. Consider the Porsche as preparation only!

Re: Just bought a Porsche. :)
If I won the lotto the first car I would buy is a Porsche. The best brand on the market IMO.
Great looking car by the way.

If you're talking about Mr.Gixxer Im assuming. He sold the forum. And he makes occasional visits about every leap year or blue moon. Which ever is rarer
And nice Porsche by the way. You got what you wanted. And the next person that says you should of done otherwise, tell them to save 47k and dont buy a Porsche then.
