Im looking to see if anyone knows of any programs that i can record video while i am not at home from my webcam,one that i can even have a set time to start recording..I think some Fishy stuff is going on here at home and i have to be Sure..So i wanna spy alittle bit..I need this program ASAP..so if you know of any let me in and ill do the research and download them..they must be free ones...thanks guys

In my old office I used to run a similar program on one of my test bench computers, and the webcam was hidden in plain sight among all my stuff and project machines. I'd turn it on when I left my desk for any length of time when my workstation would be locked.

I had alot of video of the cleaning crew and me coming in to turn it off. I also got a video of a co-worker taking things when she denied ever being in my office.

haha Yes there is a story and most of yous are on the right track.I feel i have a cheating Girlfriend.And i need to know the truth..its killing me not knowning..and yes when and IF! i capture something i will post the Video up to the Red R members.

I need a program that records both Sound and video....

How to use your PC and webcam as a motion detecting and recording security camera. Looks like it only captures still pics with no audio, but its free and should give you enough evidence if you aim it correctly. Here's some more options. I didn't look through them, but you should be able to find something useful.

Your webcam didn't come with any software? Most these days come with basic software that can capture photos, video, and sound (if your webcam does sound).

I think windows movie maker or a similar program (vegas, premiere, etc) would have recording options. There's a program called Audacity that is amazing at recording audio and you can use that and mix it with the webcam footage.

I'm sure there's some free software out there.
