Hotbodies MGP Growler Exhaust GSXR 600/750

What do you guys think? We are taking pre orders on them now and will be available at the end of the month. Here is a stock pic of it install on an R6 but they are the same design for all bikes.

http://moto-madness.com/catalog/inde...ex&cPath=8_530

Also a sound clip of it installed on the GSXR 750

looks good but sounds kinda like a straight pipe slip on type exhaust. is there anything you could do to deepen that? I think that would make a big difference

I wouldn't put Hotbodies anything performance-related on my bike. Some blinkers perhaps, but nothing that's described as 'the motoGP look!', 'the motoGP sound!', 'at a price for everyone's budget!'
No thanks.... I'm sure they'll sell nicely to the stunnas though, they look decent

+1. they can't even make a windscreen that fits a K8 properly

Well they are doing dynos on them as we speak and so far the one for the CBR1000RR has performed awesome with no other mods. I will get the dyno numbers of the GSXR one soon. The quality is awesome to compared to their Slash Cut exhausts. They are being made outside the country in Italy by a manufacturer.

As for the windscreens I'm not sure what mold they use but I can bet its like everyone else who has copied the Zero Gravity mods. PUIG windscreens use the old zero gravity mods haha

The problem with the windscreen is it doesn't have a lip at the point of it like the stock one. Without the lip it doesn't seal around the fairing and makes for such a sloppy fit that you can literally look in the fairing.

The exhaust looks OK but they should have welded the muffler to the midpipe instead of using a spring to hold it on

Re: Hotbodies MGP Growler Exhaust GSXR 600/750

finally, the thread I've been looking for, took me a while to find it. ya this is my first post and I know how annoying it is to have millions of exhausts threads due to newby's who are knew to the forums. same things happens on the car forums I visit. anyways

I know this exhaust doesnt compare to that of racefit growler or termignoni exhaust, which are two gp style exhausts that I really like but are twice the price of the hotbodies. From the sound clip, it sounds pretty good, not sure if that's just the slip on or with catalytic converted removed. anybody have a soundclip of it with reving and driveby. I want to remove converter and get the slip on to where I dont have to bolt on the exhaust to the rear passenger peg would this be possible?

can't make a proper windscreen, what makes them think they can do performance mods?! that's laughable. Learn to walk before running. I would never put any hot bodies on my bike besides the odd cosmetic part (but that's even pushing it after buying a POS windscreen from them with poor Cx Service).

^ How about save up 50 more bucks and then go get the Yoshimura R-77 stainless steel.. I would even get 2 bro's over the hotbodies garbage...

There are a few great-good choices at around $300 bucks..
