If you're into SF, you'll love it. I bought a Super Nintendo and a television with my paper route money - back in 1991 - just to play Street Fighter. Suffice it to say, I like SF4.
The graphics are excellent and control is very good. Lots of new combos to figure out. I've only had it for a week but am so far playing mostly as Sagat, Balrog and Ken.
I can't figure out how to do Guile's suplex or backbreaker for shit.
Press the two weakest Punch + Kick buttons together to do a throw. I *really* like that in SF4, you can "nullify" a throw if both people try to do it at the same time.
Sagat's a beast - his tiger knee is so effective now. I've been playing online ranked mostly with him and I knee the shit out of people. It's powerful and covers a lot of distance.

I'm running with Sagat now too. You right on him being a beast. That R2 kick is earthshaking.

Guile's lost out on this game, don't you think?? He plays like usual, whereas most other characters have their moves beefed up. His Ultra's not very effective either.
yeah i got this game. me and my boys have been hardcore SF fans since the dawn of fighting games. we play this pretty hardcore.

i roll with ken (best character), balrog, sagat, and guile mostly. i am trying to tinker around with vega but he's quite difficult - considered to be the weakest character in SF IV. i can't seem to get his 4-hit combo down for some reason even though it's simple to do. Jump in with Fierce Kick, crouching medium punch, EX wall dive (launches opponent in the air) and you catch him off the rebound in the air and slam him/her on the ground.
i got a roommate who's deadly with balrog. if his EX meter is full or revenge meter is on, and he catches you in the air with headbutt, it's an automatic super or ultra for him...

Which is the better version, PS3 or 360? I'd like to go pick it up this week...
Graphic wise they are both just about equal. If you have the option I would look first at if you plan on playing online. If so than go with the 360. If not than go with whatever controller you are more comfortable playing fighting games with.
