0-60 and 1/4 mile times of stock GSXR's

Does anyone know the difference between the 600, 750, and 1000cc GSXR's in terms of 0-60, 1/4 mile and top speed?

Re: 0-60 and 1/4 mile times of stock GSXR's

what year bikes are you talking about?

if all the same year and you're talking about the most recent bikes, the 0-60 times should be at or around 3 seconds, 1/4 for the 600 should be high 10's/low 11's, 1/4 for the 750 should be low/mid 10's and 1/4 for the 1000 should be low 10's/high 9's (dunno if that's COMPLETELY stock, but I've seen some people run 9's with a stock motor 1000) top speed on the 600 is limited at 167, i think the 750 and 1000 are limited at 186 i'm pretty sure

Yes,
I was referring to all one year to see what the speed differences are between models. That is insane that stock 1000's are going that fast.

remember that our speedos are off by anywhere up to 10% so 186 indicated could really only be 167 actual

Take any of those bikes for a ride individually and youre not likely to notice the difference in top speed, 0-60 or 1/4 mile times (unless looking at the speedo/timing). What you WILL notice is the difference in torque.

BTW Neither the 600 or 750 can actually reach the speed limiter on a flat road with stock gearing. Even on the dyno (zero wind resistence) my stock K7 750 (124 HP) redlined at 284kph (173mph), thats well short of 186mph.

i beg to differ

the few times i have topped my bike (k7 600) out were on flat roads with stock gearing

I sense a debate

On the times, I saw a 750 run a 9.89
(of course it wasnt stock) I would like to hit those numbers. I just think I need to add to the rear sprocket, and get a custom tune.

don't want to sound argumentive against a dyno machine, but i've done 173 on the meter on the road with my 750, couldn't really tell at the time, but had about 2-3 rpms till redline to go.. i had to slow down cuz the highway was about to curve.

tru, i can do that now.. but that was when i had the bike for 2 or 3 months.. it was my first bike, so i wasn't confident in trying that at that speed.

without confidence commence a dire fuck up..

60 foot: 2.051 - My 60's suck HORRIBLY
1/4 mile: 10.873
MPH: 134.16

That's the best time I've ever got...was on my wife's 06 750 with -1 front sprocket, bmc street air filter, Scorpion slip-on and PCIII with generic DynoJet map, lowered 1 inch in the back and .75 inch in the front.
Bought my 06 750 a week after that run and haven't had it below the 11 seconds yet

I just bought a k7 750 and i cant get the damn thing to do anything buy spin in first and second. Do the 750s have bad weight transfer or are the stock bridgestone tires just that crappy?

lol

The 600 would do 11s with no effort, but if pushed will brake into the high 10s.

750s will clear the 1/4 in low 11s/high10s no problem. But with effort they will do mid 10s.

Are you launching from redline or something? Maybe rolling through the burnout pit and not doing one so your tires are wet? I don't even see how thats possible.. I've launched mine probably 100 times down the strip and never spun once, not even alittle, and i'm by no means slow in a straight line.

if your timing it? are you at an actual drag strip? it's pretty easy to do a rolling burnout on a normal street if thats the case, but on a drag strip is alittle different... Even if your on the street, spinning the tire in 2nd gear is hard... unless your trying. I dunno, maybe someone turbocharged your shit without you knowing....
