has anyone stretched a 93 gsxr? what do you guys think about it. i was going to do mines i got a good price of 500 for a white swingarm and all the labor. i was thinking about going maybe 8 inches over. give me some feedbacc.
i was told the only time that you really lose the turning ability is when you put the fat boy tires on. i thought if i kept my stocc tires than i would be ok as far as the turning goes

What's your purpose of streching your bike? That will make your gixxer a single purpose bike.
Are you gonna lower it too? then you'll really have problems in the twisties. But if you just like too ride and not race through turns you'll be fine it just takes a little time to get used to.
I have a 1995 750 lowered 2 inches and stretched four. It is not too bad in the corners but surely would turn alot faster if it was back to stock. I like the way it looks and I am in a very congested part of Florida so it is not really that big of a deal for me. That said, eight inches is to much trail for me. That thing is going to turn slow as shit. Four inches is as far a stretch as I would go personally.

Re: stretching my gsxr
I had an 01 that was stretched 8, lowered 3 in the rear and 2 in the front.
It was mainly for the drag strip but it did pretty well in the twisties on the street it just took getting use to but after having it a few years i knew just how far i could push it.
Not that it could compare with with my stock 02 but it was still fun.
Why would you want to pay money to make your bike: look like shit, handle like shit, chain slap like a c*** and wheelie like shit... unless your drag racing?????
