any recommendations for an auto transport company that can deliver from Idaho to Austin, Texas?
i'd really prefer it to be in an enclosed trailer as it's for a 65 Stingray. (not perfect condition, but good enough i don't want it out in the open stacked on a bunch of other cars)
will be shipping spare bits and parts with it too.
Whatever u pick to use, dont use Dependable Auto Shippers. My cousin had his jeep delivered from south carolina to pennsylvania and it was not taken care of at all. the paint ended up cracking (fiberglass body) during shipping somehow. completely rediculous if u ask me.
I think Jer has a horror story about DAS as well. I don't have any help for you, as I've gotten stuck doing it any time my family has had to move a vehicle.
Intercity is very good and have had many cars deliverd with no problems...They shipped my brothers 1970 440 Cuda without a scratch or nic anywhere and were very nice and have new trucks...Good Luck...Danny

thanks danny. I'll look into them too. And yeah I had no I tention of using das. I remember the horror stories.
Glad it's become common knowledge. I have this in my sig on EVERY forum that I'm on. They fucked me over 5yrs ago and I'm guessing the negative word of mouth from me alone has probably cost them tens of thousands of dollars over the years. I know of over a dozen alone that had considered using them, saw my sig and then went elsewhere. That's just the ones that PM'd me or mentioned it. Who says the little man has no power against big companies.
