What a MORON! Even if the ECU wasnt there he drilled like 6 holes wtf for!? Shitty job, but 6 holes through the ECU!!!!! Priceless! Id say the kid should go kick his friends ass but hes pretty stupid himself for letting a friend drill holes no questions asked.
Edit: found this pic on there.

Re: This is just too good to be hidden from "General Bike" talk
Why do people buy bikes then instantly believe they're a mechanic? I know a guy who bought a brand new 07 750. Took it home read on the internet that cam chain tensioners were problematic. So what does he do? He pulls all the body work, the airbox, and proceeds to remove his cam chain tensioner. Fucks with it for a while, then puts it back on. No manual, no torque wrench, no new gasket, and no brain. Then tries to start the bike. Chain jumps and his brand new bike with 80 miles on it is still sitting in his garage because he can't afford to get it fixed. He refuses to sell it and "doesn't trust an ebay engine".... so he's saving up to have his repaired, or a new engine. I told him to have a shop pull the engine and ship it to KWS. Haven't talked to him in about 6 months.

Re: This is just too good to be hidden from "General Bike" talk
That was awesome.
Love when a noob that knows nothing about bikes goes and buys a brand new one and immediately starts drilling random holes in it.

He drilled the computer to make it lighter so it could process faster. And cool better. The idea was just to drill some weight out. j/k
Ive heard of drilled rotors, but drilled ECUs.
