Turbo Fueling?

I was going to see what most of you guys are running fuel pump wise for turbo systems. I looked into an inline walbro 255 but was unsure if this would work due to the stock pump still only allowing so much fuel to pass through. I would if possible much rather have an intake pump, but am unsure as too which would work. If anyone has any advice or experience please let me know.

Re: Turbo Fueling?

you can get new seal off type bottom of the tank, then put an inline pump in if you want. Or do the walboro dropin pump that takes the place of the stock. thats what i did. go on RCC turbos, he has pumps and those caps to seal off tank and use an inline.

Re: Turbo Fueling?

I have a custom made fuel pump block off plate with supply and return fittings. I also have a bosch in line fuel pump from a velocity racing stage 2.5 DBB turbo kit. Fuel pump is good for a little over 430hp. 425hp has ben made with this fuel pump and a/f was good.
I also have a set of 42lb secondary injectors from another velocity stage 2 kit. I was told by velocity they are good to 500hp or so used with the stock injectors.
Both are for sale as I got a bigger fuel pump and a fuel cell. Injectors for sale also. Best to shoot me a email as I don't visit this sight very often.

Re: Turbo Fueling?

I think I am going to go with how velocityracing has theirs setup, as I would like to retain my fuel warning light, so I will have to take out the stock pump and put an AN fitting on this with an inline walbro 255 pump. Let me know what you guys think...

Re: Turbo Fueling?

For a makeshift home kit, without serious performance upgrades, just use a walbro GSS342. This is a directly replacement to the stock pump and will accommodate all your fueling needs up to 20psi of boost.

Frank is changing servers, the new site will allow registrations and what not. To register now would just add to the chaos that is going on with the change over. Be patient and the registrations will be back up soon!
