Holy fuck! But that's everything - license plate, car itself, the maneuver... Right there on video...

Re: The one time having a camera mounted is a GREAT thing
OUCH, but im betting the driver was wanting to pass too, and didnt expect the bike to try to pass two vehicles at one time, which is illegal anyway

Re: The one time having a camera mounted is a GREAT thing
I had a truck try to do the same shit to me not to long ago. When i told my g/f about it, she said maybe he didnt see you. But there where 3-4 other bikes infront of the truck and another 10 behind it. these cagers know where are there, just dont give a damn. Oh, it was on the same kind of two lane BFE road

Re: The one time having a camera mounted is a GREAT thing
What the fuck. That definitely looked like it was on purpose. The rider should have accelerated as hard as he could to get by in a hurry instead of trying to make such a gingerly pass. Sucks for him/her though...at least you could see the plate.

+1
If I pass somebody way out in the country, I hammer it. My dad takes is sweet ass god damn time when he's passing just rolling throttle on, and that kills me if I'm behind him. I've had times where I dropped a gear and when around him at the same time

Re: The one time having a camera mounted is a GREAT thing
And you are lucky that didnt happen to you.
I have done it too, but I am VERY mindfull that one of the cars in the middle might decided to do the same thing I am, and not see me coming.

Re: The one time having a camera mounted is a GREAT thing
I got pulled over and harrased for it. So I assume the cop knew what he was talking about.
And think about it logically even. Passing two cars at one time is not smart in all reality. YOu cant guarantee the 2nd car wont try to pass the first car at the same time as you.

shit.... a few times i've had officers tell me i was going 50 when i wasn't even going 40... i tell them that's impossible and they drop it... so clearly they don't know what they're talking about
very true... that's why you gotta use extra precaution

Re: The one time having a camera mounted is a GREAT thing
I mean when it comes to something being illegal MOST of the time. The cop didnt give me a ticket for it, but told me it was illegal none the less.
I dont have time to even think about looking it up though. im not a cop basher, and I tend to give them the bennefit of the doubt %90 of the time
