being a real racer is one thing you just have loads of dough..... that is alll
again, i'm dead broke and still going. Now how is that possible (and no, CC's are NOT in the picture. )
you dont have a job so there is no "begging for the time off" you also are bringing down 18 bikes at 1000 bucks a bike so you are making some jingle to help out your cause.
and you must have had a job making about 100,000gs a year so even though you got laid off you were able to store up some loot. unless you were the masked man in that bank in boston last week.
trust me Gibby, dead broke, not a dime in the acct, no saving, etc. Right now I actually have $12 cash for some tolls. I just sold some books on Amazon.com so they owe me 100 and also sold the motard wheels (finally) so I should have some gas/food/travel money.
100,000gs? damn, thats like 100 million! I need that job.

lol, yeah it was easier than going for the $ sign. i wish i could go, but im already too deep in debt, and i cant take the time from work. i just lost over a week from being sick so there is no way they would let me have the time off. i run my jobsite, and i am the only one who can do it and who knows the 5.5 million dollar job i manage. it is not common for guys with my job to be able to take time off when the want. its more like you take time off when the job permits. so i am fortunate that i can take off days here and there when i need. when i am gone someone can cover, but something always gets fucked up when i am not there, and when something on my job gets fucked up its always my fault whether i am there or not. and too many fuck ups = me not getting a good raise. i dont have a typical job.
I was prepared to go this year, but a family emergency will tie up my time and some of the $$ I had saved for the trip. I have family that lives 5 minutes from the track too....
