08 750 rear preload

Could someone who haven´t adjust preload measure how much is thread showing at rear shock with stock settings?

I´ll messed up mine and i want to know what was stock setting.

Stock is not relevant as it needs to set to you on the bike in full gear.

If you are going to take the time to set it back instead use that time to set your sag.

You do not need to go back to stock to set your sag.

Recommended preload is 8mm of thread showing. Stock is about 4mm.

No such thing as recommended spring preload.

Again this is determined by your body weight on the bike.

You cannot use another persons settings unless you have an identical twin and share a bike.
