It\'s finally going

My bike is up for sale in Autotrader thanks to being made redundant and my former boss with-holding my final months salary 'cos he's a prize twat.

It's a sad day and someone is going to pay a high price for me having to sell my bike

And it's sold, for full asking price. If I was selling under any other circumstances, I'd be very happy.

Re: It\'s finally going

Sorry to hear about the job rev, I hope something sorts itself out for you soon.

Did the news suddenly get sprung on you or had you known for some time about the redundancy?

You can always get another bike later, not many decent riding days left now until the winter closes in anyhow.

Re: It\'s finally going

Thanks for the replies, guys.

Advertised the bike in Autotrader, advert went live on the internet at 16:24. At 18:30 my next door neighbour had seen the advert and came round and made an offer, which I will be accepting very soon (didn't want to seem too keen). He also wants to rent my garage for a few months while he builds his own, so all in I'm getting what I was asking. He also says I can ride it whenever I want!

Job-wise, I got made redundant the day I got back into work after my honeymoon (the day after August bank holiday). Job hunting sucks. I was Technical Manager for an ISP, so not many jobs in that specific area. Where I live seems to be Warehouse capital of Europe, so if I was an Order Picker, FLT driver or truck driver, I'd be set. A few more weeks and I'll have to become one of the above.

Sorry to hear of the redundancy mate , I can imagine that you are a tad pissed off , I thought that you'd get a reasonable redundancy though but obviously not. Sorry mate but I'm sure that you'll find your feet soon for sure..........
