2003 Mustang Cobra trying to catch-up with bike
Playing around with a bike on the highway. Didn't get to line up and go but still had some fun!
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/2...ike_158115.htm
Don't know type/size motor of the bike. A lot of people think its a GSX-R 600 or 750...

uhhhh there are plenty of street cars in CA,AZ, and TX just to name a couple places with 9/10 sec street cars all over the place that give liter bikes a run 4 our money.

Re: 2003 Mustang Cobra trying to catch-up with bike
I almost orgasmed in my pants when I was running next to a single turbo Toyota Supra from 40mph to well over 150+ and it eventually passed me at or around 170mph. Never thought I could hear the sweet sound of the Supra's pipes over my Yosh R-55 in 6th gear close to redline. I had to pull over to check my pants.

some can.
but most of those 9 second cars are suited for roll racing like near 80mph plus since they break lose down low.
overall any car that can tear a bike up on the highway from like 60mph to 150 is

Definitely an 06/07 GSXR 600/750. Too dark to tell 600/750 by color. I don't think the rider was that serious - he never tucked. Just rolled on it enough to stay in front.

Re: 2003 Mustang Cobra trying to catch-up with bike
Few things since most dont know about cars here which is cool this is a bike forum. Just like most car guys dont know bikes... But I do both.
First of all: yep it has blower on it all 03 04 cobras come stock with one. Second cobras are MADE for roll racing theyre just like a supra! Put down huge numbers and run 11s. But from a roll on theyre mean machines.
Ive beaten a few 600s in my car one 750 but the 750 was like a 01 02ish model.
But my friend on the other hand outruns most bikes around here track or street. Including an 07 gsxr 1000 with a few boltons. But his car runs a 8.99 at 155 mph. And I have videos as well. Not of him racing bikes but a few track passes. Its a streetcar too just has a turbo the size of a helmet lol. Car made 1011 horsepower and just shy of 900 torque. Its a force to be reckoned with from a roll on the street!
But like someone else said no it sure cant take the corners. I joke with him all the time about it. Hey wanna race for 500 he says yeah what roll. I say ohh 35ish out on route
17. But then again he has a 06 750 as well.
Hes supposed to be running an 08 cbr 1000rr this weekend. Hopefully i can get it on video or at least jsut watch!

Re: 2003 Mustang Cobra trying to catch-up with bike
its hard to beat a bike, all the cars that i have seen beat bikes have had 10's of thousands invested into them. id rather just spend the 13,000 and be runnin low 10's on a stock bussa.

It still has the stock supercharger on it but I'm planning on putting on a whipple next summer
I love running into bikes on the highway because they're always up for some fun even though I know I'm gonna get beat most of the time!

i wish, i had an older 87 mk3 (not the newest bodystyle) i only ran 13.1 but with slicks and a good driver it was probably good for mid 12s

Re: 2003 Mustang Cobra trying to catch-up with bike
I was a little nervous, I raced an 03 Cobra coming home from the berlin tpke (where that vid takes place) last year, but I have a gsxr 1k.
