where on the net will i be able to find facts about my gsxr slingshot 1988. you know things like how many seconds 0-100mph or fastest speed. i do hate it when somebody asks me whats it's bhp and i dont know.

I thought the slingshots were large bore, short stroke 748 cc machines, that sheet says 749

Hah! didnt even notice that. You are right, the 88-89 were the big bore/short stroke. If you look at the bore size on that same sheet it says 73mm which is what the 88-89 bore size was. Just a small typo on their part, good eye.

almost 2 o' clock actually, im a night owl . It always seems like theres something holding me from completing the engine. I took the head back to the machinist to have him re-assemble it and he had hurt his hand. He was lathing down a crankshaft and one of the long slivers whipped around and peeled off the top of his hand. He said hopefully the head will be done by next week.
Heres another suprise, i bought what i thought was an Ohlins steering damper off ebay. It had an Ohlins sticker on it and the right color (gold) I emailed Ohlins USA and asked them if they had a rebuild kit for it (showed them a ton of pictures of it) They emailed me back and told me it wasnt an Ohlins model. Well then i got looking and found out it was a Sprint Pro Race damper that someone just stuck an Ohlins sticker on. So anyways, not that big of a deal, Sprint is a great damper by what ive read and you can still get parts for them.

and to hear bikes coming together ,bought the front wheel i was asking about it was a 97 ,still coming gotgixxers said he did some research on wheel swaps,we dont have the availability of as many general sizes bearings as you
when i get wheel i'll be possibly hunting the US
got the 38's for $204 only one bid against me ,you don't get that often in US
contacted gotgixxers about 1216-love to not modify my 1100 too much

yeah i forgot about you getting GG bike. I thought you were just gonna buy the engine but that whole bike is a steal of a deal. It would cost more than what he's asking for the whole bike just to build the engine
