what happened to this guy?
i know its old and probably a repost..but why did he wobble? he seemed to bring it down softly..

i think you posted the wrong link, he didnt bring it down softly at all. in fact that was the opposite of softly.

when he stands it up he turns the bars to the right, and doesn't straighten it out before he comes down...thats why you always have an after market damper...that could just as easily happen shifting, especially from 1st to 2nd.

Not only did he not put it down straight, most of his weight was still on the left peg. Weight needs to be pretty balanced in order for a slapper to smooth out, especially when you put it down all jacked up like he did. He didn't stand a chance.
