Question horsepower on 02 GSXR 750

I'm new to gixxers, my last bike was an 03 R1, and I'm trying to find out the stock horsepower on a 2002 gsxr 750, along with the 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. I've looked online and I can't seem to find the info. If anybody knows or can tell me where to find it I would appreciate it.

Re: horsepower on 02 GSXR 750

141 hp

That's the official figure, bear in mind, that will be at the crank.

Get it on a dyno and see what you get at the rear wheel

Quarter mile 10.26 at 135.6, other data wont be easy to find.

My 01 dynoed at 119 hp with BMC filter, 1000 header, Devil slip on and power commander.

My K2 750 dynoe'd out at 124.9 hp at the rear wheel. Has Yoshi TRS, Power commander, K & N air filter, -1 and +2 sprockets, and custom map. Never had it thru the 1/4 mile, so can't give you those figures, sorry.

my 02 750 put down 133 hp and 58 ft lbs or torque. this was with a Micron Serpent system, k&n filter, TRE, and a 520 conversion.

Re: horsepower on 02 GSXR 750

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the info. I have a yoshi rs3 full exhaust and I just ordered a power commander. I'm going to put a tre and I'm considering -1 +2 on the sprockets, but not sure about that one.

Re: horsepower on 02 GSXR 750

i had a -1 +1 on the 750 and i think that was about as far as i'd go for riding on the street, i just did this to my 06 1k also and i think it one of the better gear changes for street and some track use. you do lose quite a bit of top end when you make that swap and your gas milage will be a lot less but you'll definately feel adifference in performance.

Re: horsepower on 02 GSXR 750

Most stock bikes were 120-123 hp.
Built supersport motrs with coated pistons and a good pipe were about 138 hp.

Re: horsepower on 02 GSXR 750

I have an 01' 750, and I had mine dynoed a couple months ago. I have a full Yoshimura TRS system, PCIIIusb, and the stock air filter.

It made 132+ hp at the rear wheel on a Mustang dyno. I hear that they read low, but it's not all about the numbers. My bike runs a lot better/smoother now with that PCIIIusb on. My tire was low on pressure too at the time. The reason being the tire gauge I was using was off by ten psi! He said that might've gained another 1hp on the dyno, but whatever. It runs better than what it did, and I'm pretty happy with how much it smoothed my bike out.

Re: horsepower on 02 GSXR 750

Keep in mind that every brand of dyno reads different. In some cases there can be a 10 to 15 horsepower difference between brands.

Re: horsepower on 02 GSXR 750

Mine put down 129 at the wheel two summers ago.
I thought the dyno might be a little optomistic, but was told by a few others it may be pretty realistic.
Arrow Exhaust, Yoshimura EMS, K&N, Pair mod, -1 on the front...
