Leather Jackets.... Does anyones ride up on them?? : Suzuki GSX-R Motorcycle Forums: Gixxer.com

Hello everyone. I am having a hard time deciding whether my new leather jacket I bought it alittle too big or not. It feels great just standing still off the bike, just alittle comfort room on it, sleeves may be a tad long, but... when I get on the bike, in certain positions its like the jacket is riding up on me...... I dunno whether I need to send it back and get the next size smaller, and hope it loosens up a tad. I really dunno. I've never owned a leather before. Its a alpinestars by the way.

I have a Joe Rocket Sonic that fits snugs and does not ride up on me. It may be slightly to big.

I think it is. The place I got it in Omaha Nebraska, DSR, they had the smaller one in stock on the showroom floor, but... I was almost sure it was too small.... so.. they ordered a size bigger in for me before I left omaha to head back home from my business trip. Well... after getting home and realizing I think its too big, I called em up and I think they are gonna swap em out ofr me, and even pay for shipping on both. So.... if they end up following through with that, they DEFINITELY get a A++++ in my book. Really cool guys too.

dsr is a breath of fresh air in this town for gear and they have good prices too.... they are always good to work with.... I just picked up my Icon retro daytona today from them today....

Sounds like it's 1 size too big. I see you live in Lawrence. Are you planning on going to Cassoday next weekend?

Mine does a little if I don't wear my leather pants. It's not enough to bug me, tho. When zipped into my pants, it's almost too tight, which is just right.
