Can someone tell me the pro's & cons's of the auto switching TRE mod sold here:

I was going to build a manual switching one for my 99' 750 from radio shack parts and saw this auto switching one advertised. Wondering what he is using to make it automatic and how reliable or prone to failure it is as opposed to just sticking with the manual switching way??? plus is it worth the extra $35 over doing it myself? anybody use this or have any insight?

Go with the manual switching setup, much better because you can turn it on and off when ever you want. The auto unit is for a better idle and start up, it is automaticly off when bike is in neutral because the bike idles better with it off and also starts better. I have switched JSDs on my 98 750 and K2 1K. Also once your bike is fuel mapped correctly you dont really need it. I remapped the stock ECMs on both bikes with the TEKA SFI tuner. After mapping I hardly ever turn on the JSDs. Good Luck
