Stinky leathers

Today I realized just how bad the inside of my leathers smell. What do you guys do to help prevent the stank? Is there any hope?

Re: Stinky leathers

You could try Febreeze. Short of that I think there is a thread in the gear section on how to wash leathers.

Re: Stinky leathers

How about fabric softener/dryer sheets they smell good. Just put them in once you take the suit off that should work.

Re: Stinky leathers

I put them out in the sun and let them air out. It helps but not 100%!

Re: Stinky leathers

yes Febreeze will work in the short term. I send mine to the dry cleaners when it gets real bad.

Re: Stinky leathers

Thanks guys. I had some febreze so I sprayed it inside and let it air out for the rest of the day. Hopefully using that stuff will be enough to get by. I think it will.

Debbie rocks. I have a 5yr old zcustom that was more of a wearable saltlick than a set of leathers. They're like brand new now at a very reasonable price.
