If you're not used to a stranger complimenting you, it can be uncomfortable. However, just say thank you & learn how to take a compliment. I'm still learning myself I blush like crazy

Not used to compliments? I get em all the time - You sound like a girl with no self esteem. Just smile

To the guy "it happens to the best of us" will always get a chuckle...

Re: compliments = uncomfortable

i like and can take compliments.

but when you have this freaky lady stop doing what shes doing to come and tell me EVERYDAY that she likes something it gets annoying.

also compliments are better when they are from a hot young chick. I could care less wat the old lady thinks. if she has the hots for me she should keep it to herself.

Re: compliments = uncomfortable

I get compliments all the time and I don't handle them very well by any means. I get embarrassed and blush when told I'm pretty or something. Even compliments from friends and the b/f, I have trouble taking in, not sure where this derives from.

Re: compliments = uncomfortable

There's a guy at my work that began wearing a tie everyday for some reason (they are not required). Problem was, he looked like a homeless man that decided to slap on a tie. I'm talking the ugliest, most messed up looking shirts and pants with some non-matching tie. And, get this, everybody oohs and aahs at how good he looks. "Nice tie" they say. So...I decided to do a social study. I bought some white short-sleeve shirts from Wal-Mart and about 20 of the ugliest ties I could find from a local thrift store and began wearing the ensemble everyday. And guess what happened? Everybody comes up to me and says how nice I look, how professional, nice tie, blah, blah, blah. Only my friends know what's going on and they just laugh! Try it!

Bitch be happy someone is looking at you.

It's nice to have people admire you and you should appreciate that, instead of being creeped out.

Of find the positive in people doing that? maybe your pleasant to look at and you should model and make some money from that?

Or you need to stay away from the mirror as much so that people do not think your metro sexual.

Cheers

Re: compliments = uncomfortable

Lets flip it though...how many guys felt uncomfortable going up to radom chics and complimenting them? I used to feel like they thought I was a pig just trying to hook/pick them up...I guess that's why I didn't do it back N the day.

I don't have to worry about that now but I'm just saying.
