Re: 1991 GSXR 750 Trackday build
They spent a lot of time on the SRS link. I've got one on my track bike and it works great. You do have to run a stiffer spring and re-valve the Fox for that set up. Also have to space the upper shock mount rearwards a bit, but it does work. Well worth the effort in my opinion.
I tried a 05-06 1K shock with stock linkage, upper mount spaced out for clearence reasons and found it to be way to soft for my (at the time 235#) ass. I have a stock 08 1K shock in the garage to try next as a cheap upgrade on another bike I use when Im an Instructor at JenningsGP. The 08 1K is stiffer.
Can I get you to re-pop me a couple SRS links? I'd also be interested in trying a link that works with 05-06 or 07-08 1K factory shocks.

XRacer you need to talk to Dylan about getting a link.
Its been awhile since I've posted but had to have heart surgery last month.. Anyways all good now!
over the winter I converted the bike to an 08 hayabusa ECU. I made a 24-2 trigger wheel. Drilled the cam for cam sensor pin and mounted the cam sensor to the valve cover. I finally got the bike fired up 2 weeks ago. The bike has a woolich log box and will be tuned with woolich racing software (similar to ECU Editor). The Ecu has an Innovate LC-1 wired into the narrow band sensor wire so I'm able to use the auto tune feature of the software. I also plan to hook up flat shit once the bikes tuned. Heres a few pictures.
I've also finally started to sort out the SRS link for the bike. Been working with dilligaf1127 on this. Bike should be awesome this year!

Re: 1991 GSXR 750 Trackday build
It's been a while since I've seen anything on this build. I'm glad to hear your health is on the mend.
That is outstanding work... I had forgotten about the attention to detail you've put into this project and now with the FI, I'm just in awe. One day I'd like to attempt FI on one of these bikes. I'll bet it's a real game changer. You'll have to report back after having it on the dyno.
I got the bike running fairly well over the weekend. The coolant temp sensor was bad though so I had to bypass it with a resistor. I also sorted out some wiring problems with a few of the plugs. Not getting any codes now so thats good.
Something seems to be drawing on the battery when the key is off though not really sure what thats all about. I need to look at that tonight. Only 2 things could be causing it are the LC-1 or possibly the alternator.

Re: 1991 GSXR 750 Trackday build
Sounds great to me!
I can only imagine it'll smoothen out the power delivery and get rid of any dips. I don't know about the 91 750's but the 1st gens with slide-carbs hit a black hole at about 7k - 7.5k under load.
yallgotboost, this is an impressive build thread. When I click on a track bike build I expect to see much less innovation and just a low cost oiler to beat on the track, not the case here.
Glad to hear your on the otherside of soem major surgury and on your way with the bikes. These detials at the end are the toughest. Especially in uncharted territory with FI.
